Decebal Cântă(“Decebal Sings”) is a project that turns Romanian history into songs you actually want to play on repeat. Each track is sung in the first person by a historical ruler — the way they might tell their own story if they'd fronted a band.
This English edition is made for the world, not for an exam. If you've never heard of any of these people, the songs are built to make sense and pull you in anyway — and to leave you curious enough to go read more. If you already know your Romanian history, there's a good chance you'll still learn something new.
